Turanga Velo @ MCEC 2026

Every year, advocates for clean energy converge on College Park to meet, greet and debate on how to forge the path toward a cleaner energy future. Through formal panel discussions and the natural collisions of people working in the same space, we advance our common goal of living in a cleaner and more sustainable state and region.

Excited to influence the discussion, we brought the Velo to expose people to a new way of moving and solicit feedback from potential customers. Thanks to all who stopped by and shared their opinions and comments. We’ll continue to refine the velo and spend the next few blog posts detailing some of it’s unique features like the patent-pending passive tilt mechanism, ventilation airflow, and more that make the Turanga Velo your partner in daily life.

About Suhas Malghan

This blog documents the design and development of environmentally sustainable machines and humane design practice in general; machines that work for humanity as well on the move as they do sitting still.
